Potentia Renewables Inc is pleased to announce its partnerships on two wind projects in Quebec. Potentia has partnered with Kruger Energy, the Eastern Energy Alliance and the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation on the 196MW Saint-Paul-de-Montminy (SPDM) wind project and with Kruger Energy, the Jardins-de-Napierville RCM and the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke on the 147MW Les Jardins Wind Project. Both projects have been awarded Power Purchase Agreements with Hydro-Québec and together, these initiatives will contribute an impressive 1,069.8 GWh of renewable energy annually, marking a significant step forward in Quebec’s clean energy transition.

The SPDM project is situated in the municipalities of Saint-Paul-de-Montminy, Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire and Montmagny, while the Les Jardins project is located across the municipalities of Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington, Saint-Édouard, Saint-Michel, and the Township of Hemmingford. Both projects are expected to play a pivotal role in providing sustainable and cost-effective power to Quebec.
