Michele Smith, Vice President, Business Management

The funding is provided to Paintearth County as part of Potentia’s commitment to being an active member of the community. The community funding agreement is for $25,000 per year with 60% going towards fixed allocations like environmental education programs, post-secondary scholarships and a community fee assistance program that subsidizes participation costs for eligible individuals registering for arts and recreational activities. The remaining 40% is open for community groups to apply for through the municipality.

Potentia operates the 190 MW Paintearth Wind facility located in Paintearth County.  The project reached commercial operation in March 2024.
